Data Controller
As MICGAME Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi ("MICGAME"), a company established in Turkey, we process your personal data as the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and applicable data protection law. This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.
Personal Data Processed
During membership and service processes, we may process first name, last name, username, email address, phone number, billing and payment details, IP address, session and transaction records, browser and device information, visited page information and correspondence records related to your support requests.
Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed to create and manage your membership account, carry out order and service processes, perform billing and collection, provide customer support, conduct identity verification and security checks, fulfill legal obligations, improve service quality, perform statistical analysis and provide you with information about our services.
Legal Bases
We process your personal data on the legal bases set out in Article 6 GDPR: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interests), and where required, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance these against your rights and freedoms.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared with payment institutions, hosting and infrastructure providers, SMS and email service providers and legally authorized public bodies where necessary for service delivery. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) are applied. MICGAME is established in Turkey; applicable Turkish data protection rules may also apply alongside the GDPR where relevant.
Data Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the periods required by applicable law and for as long as necessary for the processing purpose. When the retention period ends, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request rectification of inaccurate data, request erasure ("right to be forgotten") where applicable, request restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing, and not be subject to solely automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
How to Contact Us
You may submit requests regarding your data subject rights to MICGAME in writing or via our contact channels listed on micgame.net. We respond to valid requests without undue delay and in any event within one month, which may be extended by a further two months where necessary. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence or place of work.
