Not everyone in your clan uses the same version. Some are still on the old version TeamSpeak 3.1.10, others have moved to the new version TeamSpeak 6. All versions can join our servers. Nobody has to update their client, everyone talks in the same channel with their own version.

Yes. TeamSpeak servers are rented monthly or for longer periods, and that is what people mean by "buy a TeamSpeak server". You pick the period in the cart. Even if your term ends, we keep a backup of your server. When you buy again, your old server comes back with its channels and permissions.

TeamSpeak is a program players and teams use for voice communication. You install the client on your computer, Android or iOS device, connect to a server and talk in channels. It does not run on one central platform like Discord, it runs on the server you rent. You decide the channels, the permissions and who can speak.
